Cottam Andrew

Andrew has worked for over 20 years in the fields of biodiversity information systems, GIS, remote sensing and policy-relevant analyses – firstly for the UK government advisors on nature conservation and then for the UNEP-World Conservation Monitoring Centre as Head of GIS. At JRC his specialist areas are global water mapping, species analyses, systematic conservation planning and conservation decision support tools. Andrew holds a Masters Degree in Conservation Biology from the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology in Canterbury, UK.
